From world-class rum and organic chocolate to the iconic pink streets, you’ll experience the very best of our city like a local. The Journey We begin with a convenient pickup directly from your Hotel or Airbnb. Our first stop is the legendary Brugal Rum Factory, where you’ll learn the secrets of Dominican rum and enjoy a guided tasting of their finest blends. Next, we visit a local artisan chocolate factory to see how organic cacao is transformed into world-famous Dominican chocolate (with plenty of samples!). After working up an appetite, we’ll head to a hand-picked local restaurant to enjoy "La Bandera Dominicana"—the traditional flagship meal of the DR. The afternoon is spent exploring the historic Central Park. We’ll walk to the stunning San Felipe Cathedral, stroll through the famous Pink Alley (Callejon de Doña Blanca), and take photos under the vibrant Umbrella Path. We will also visit the Amber Museum to see the ancient treasures of the island. To keep you cool, we’ll enjoy a freshly cracked coconut drink before finishing our day at the historic San Felipe Fortress, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
